Religion:   Ch. 2 (pgs. 31-42) 

                     Test Friday

Reading: Study story "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" for Test on Wednesday.
Math: Time Tables 2 times each 0-5.
Spelling: Review words Unit #2

Class Rules: 

1.                  Treat everyone with courtesy and respect.

2.              When the teacher or a classmate is sharing, do not interrupt.

3.              Listen carefully to all instructions.

4.              Do not use the teacher’s or another student’s supplies without asking          permission.•

5.         Turn in all homework in a timely manner. 

6.         Keep your desk organized and neat.

7.          Always raise your hand when you ask questions. 

Consequences:

                          1st time Students will get a warning.

             2nd time Students will stay 5 minutes after school.

            3rd time Students will stay 10 minutes after school.

              4th time Students will be sent to the office and I will have a Parent-Teacher Conference.

Rewards:  The students will receive stickers, pencils, erasers, and other surprises for their good behavior. 

Homework:  Students who are absent must turn in homework by the next day. An absent folder will be placed on the student’s desk with all assignments for the day. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure he/she turns in the assignments. If the student fails to turn in any missing assignments by the following day, a letter will be sent home to the parents informing them about the missing assignments. If the student still does not turn in assignment he/she will get a zero. The student’s are responsible for writing the homework assignments down at the end of the day. The teacher will write it on the board and the student’s will copy it onto their agendas. The teacher will make sure all assignments are written down before the student’s leave. All assignments must have a proper heading:
• First and last name.
• Date
• Student number
• Subject
• Page number of assignment 

A Communication Folder will be sent home every Thursday with student’s assignments for the week. They are responsible for turning in the folder the following Friday and must be signed by the parents. If any issues arise concerning student’s conduct, the teacher will send a note home inside the Communication Folder. It is the Parents and students responsibility to check the folder every Thursday. 

Absence: It is the Parent’s responsibility to make sure they send a written or doctor’s excuse when their child is absent. It is very importance that the Office receives documentation of all absences.

Grades:  

100-90=A

                     89-80=B

                     79-75=C

                     74-70=D

                     69-Below=F
